Sure, the L1 may not seem competitive to some people, but last season, Lyon put up quite a fight against eventual champions ManU. Under new manager Puel, Lyon's defense seems to be improving while their offense as dangerous as ever. In fact, if Lyon keeps their good form and Bayern improve, I'd expect an exciting match between two domestic league champions! I still don't think Klinsmann is to apt to use Kroos for 90 minutes every week just yet, and I can see the scenario where Kroos and Klose come on in the 2nd half of matches and give the team a big lift.
