The German Cup quarter final draw has been released. Bayern have drawn

Bayern Munich have been drawn to face city rivals TSV 1860 München in the DFB German Cup quarter-finals.

Bayern have been handed the draw so many at the club desperately wanted in the DFB German Cup quarter-finals, after Women’s World Cup winner and former Bayern star Simone Laudehr picked out the TSV 1860 ‘Lions’ to face the 13-times winners.

The tie will be played on 26 or 27 February.

“Obviously, this is a cracking draw, something Munich football fans have been looking forward to for years,” Bayern boss Ottmar Hitzfeld declared.

And my favorite, the bad ass Dutchman in midfield was equally happy about the draw.

“Unbelievable! Super, super, super,” the Dutch ace exclaimed. “It’s the best thing that could happen to Munich. This derby beats the lot, perfect!“
