Thanks for digging these up — I didn’t get to see all the goals yesterday. I love seeing Schweini totally forgetting to be gentle and just slap his hands all across the faces of Demichelis and Van Bommel. And then VB and Klose have their own hug — awww.
Looks like a good atmosphere at the club — but I wonder how Sagnol’s recent revelations that he hates Hitzfeld are going to sit with everyone…

Miro and Mark are awesome. They truly have a great, solid, strong friendship. I have read so much, from both of them, about how close they are that I find their interaction that much more adorable now.
Personally, I think Sagnol should be gone. GONE. Mark should be our next Captain and Sagnol should be sold. He isn’t worth our time anymore.

I personally agree with you about showing Sagnol the door. This season’s outbursts combined with his demand of the captaincy have given me a very bad impression of him.
Did you see, though, that Van Bommel came out and defended Sagnol? I find *that* to be the mark of a captain: defend the teammate publicly, deal with it privately.

Exactly. The thing is, Kahn got fined and suspended for bad-mouthing team-mates… You should NEVER publicly slam your boss. I don’t care what the circumstance is. You deal with it between the team and not in the media.
I don’t really care what anyone says to me, Mark is a class person and he really knows how to handle the team and their issues. He makes new folks feel welcome and he handles the disagreements quietly within the team… which is how it should be.
I know I’m completely biased on the subject matter, but seriously, Mark deserves to wear that arm band. I do love his attitude about it though. He was asked about them asking him and said they have discussed it but whether he has the C on his arm or not it won’t change the way he handles the midfield and guides the team because his leadership is part of his job at Bayern… he is so much love.
