In my opinion, Bayern had a good draw. They were lucky because the only team that can cause them troubles is Red Star, even though the Serbian team didn’t quite start as they wanted in their league. They have a decent squad.
Bolton doesn’t shine this season. In the Premiership they are 19th and were close to elimination from the UEFA Cup by Macedonian representative Rabotnicki Kometal.
I don’t know much about FC Braga so we’ll see.
And Aris is not that strong.

But in football… you just never know.

Sporting Braga’s legitimate. Bayern were going to be favorites regardless of their draw. If they don’t reach at least the quarters (and that’s being super generous), they should count this tournament as a major failure.

Oh please, this could have been Arsenal, Barcelona, Inter and Real Madrid and Bayern would make it through the group. The only issue here is keeping their focus, because playing crap teams like Bolton makes it easy to lose focus. They should ostensibly play nothing but reserves.

Agreed. If they could get by using reserves in at least 2 maybe three of these matches, these season could fall into place quite well for them.

Now for the real task: Getting Oli Kahn back for one more year. This shouldn’t be it, DRAFT KAHN 08-09!
