Yeah, Robben and Ribery gonna look really scary, best wing pair in the world, gonna tear up any defence. Bayern did great job by picking up robben

The work rate of the entire team was vastly improved in the first half, then in the second…..wow. Ribery & Robben pair well on the wings and Schweinsteiger finally has somebody on the other end of his well paced passes to wreak havoc. With the abundance of solid strikers defenses will tire greatly in the second half of games. The defense did much better as well. Van Buyten was much better placed, Badstuber covered well, and Lahm was everywhere. Looking forward to CL action. Only two days left to find a keeper and loan Rensing so he can improve……

“Schweinsteiger finally has somebody on the other end of his well paced passes to wreak havoc”… Schweinsteiger is an average passer at best nobody on the team is a particularly good passer except Ribery and Robben which caused the attack to be lifeless prior to this game… what getting Robben does is allow for real creativity in Bayerns attack which was a major problem, Ribery and Robben will create lots of space for Gomez and it also allows for Bayern to attack at a speed that catches defenders out of position. and now van gaal has the players to play his 4-3-3 the only downside is out of the strikers only Gomez will start.

Seeing Robben reminded me of two things 1 how truly fragile bundesliga defenses are and 2 the disparity in talent in the different departments of the Bayern team if only the defense and midfield had talents of the standard of Ribery and Robben, Bayern would be on the same level as Barca, Inter, Man U and Real, and would be serious champions league contenders like those teams.

What a game! What a debut! I’m looking forward to the delightful sight of Olic, Mueller, Gomez, Robben, & Ribery latching on to Schweinsteiger’s defense-splitting passes this season. It seems like the team is going to have a full squad at least until January, but at least they won’t lack for depth in good forwards and midfielders. Heh — it’s too bad they don’t have that problem in defense or goal.
