Toni victim of burglary

By: Angela | February 18th, 2008

There is a German article over at Blick about Toni’s villa being broken into. From what I’ve been told, roughly translated it says that a few hours before his hattrick Toni found out that there had been a break in in his luxurious villa in Italy. They left behind his gold world cup medal and his golden shoe award but have stolen several other trophies and his fiancés jewelry. He flew back after the match to go see what had been taken. Over at www.firenzeviola.it it has his father saying the whole family was saddened by this because they took a lot of things from teams that he has previously played for, kits, etc.

This is very sad to hear. This seems like it’s becoming an unpleasant trend. These guys are rich, why not hire some security or something. It doesn’t matter who you are, the world is filled with haters.

Definitely sad, and I wonder where they would want to sell/who would want to buy personal things like kits and trophies?

It’s very sad. They’ll probably show up on ebay eventually… they always do.
