Poor Podolski; Injured again..

The good news: Lukas won’t be leaving Bayern. The bad news: Lukas is out injured. Lukas has been taking some time off due to a sore back, but now we get the official word, it’s not just a sore back but a slipped disc. Poldi has had no luck since the knee injury, failing to recover his position with Bayern especially after the purchase of Miro and Toni. But now, the hits keep on coming. After not allowing him to leave on loan, being told he’ll still sit on the bench, and looking forward to playing for the national team, he’s out of luck again. Tomorrow Lukas will be undergoing a thorough medical exam and then we’ll know his prognosis. The news isn’t good for Jogi Loew either. He will be missing Torsten Frings and now Lukas as well. Bayern are back in action on Friday at Hansa Rostock.
