Hello fellow readers
By: Angela | February 12th, 2009I just wanted to pop in here quickly and let you all know that I haven’t forgotten about Bayern or Dutch Hotness … err Captain van Bommel, but I contracted a crazy stomach flu virus that had me laid up in bed for about two weeks. I will be back this week with the battle of the Captains…. Mark and Arne when they take on Hertha. I hope you’re all doing well and I promise I’ll get back to blogging about the boys like I did in the past.
Congratulations to Miro Klose and his awesome goals this past weekend. And to the reporter that must read the Bayern Offside, I’m glad I’m not the only one that thinks Miro is too unselfish… the Mother Teresa of strikers indeed.

I don’t have the article, it was from Goal which is worthless most of the time, but it was just copied over on livejournal as a paragraph. It was an article mostly about Toni I believe, but this was the mention and pretty spot on about Klose I believe:
He took six shots, most of which were set up with five-star service, but was off-target every time. What’s the difference between Toni and David Villa? When Toni is unable to hit the target, he’s useless. Toni was so out of form on Saturday that even Miro Klose, the Mother Teresa of strikers, took the ball off his feet in the 66th minute to prevent yet another wasted opportunity.
