I agree with Schweini on the remarks about the players as well. I sometimes wonder about that. I’m sure it will come out eventually.

Yo: While I appreciate everyone’s right to their own opinion, it is Kahn’s right to think what he like about his teammates as well. And as for Bayern being Crap without Toni and Ribery… that’s a matter of opinion. Toni spends more time Offside than he does anything else…

There’s a chance we have a good old fashioned dressing room rift at Bayern.

Schweinsteiger gave an interesting interview, where he talked about all sorts of things.
About Bayern’s young players:
“It’s just the way it is at most clubs. Players from the club’s own youth or young players don’t get the respect that the expensive players get, who are brought in from the outside. The appreciation levels are completely different.”

He also showed understanding for Willy Sagnol’s wish to leave the club:
“Willy has been around a long time. But often people only talk about the new players. Willy, Lucio or Mark van Bommel – they deserve a lot of respect as well. You need these kind of players to win the big battles.”

Now, of all new signings, who got the most attention from everybody. 1st: Ribery 2nd: Luca Toni

Miroslav Klose to some extent, but people already know him from Bremen and the NT, and he likes to keep a low profile, so he’s not so much the focus of all attention.

It seems that Oliver Kahn might have decided to react to the mood in the dressing room. I don’t know. Maybe a couple of other players on the squad secretly smiled when they heard Kahn’s remarks. I also wonder, what effect Hitzfeld’s clear positioning pro Toni and Ribery will have.
