Jan: That is exactly the one They talked about it later. Ribery said he taped the door shut.. he later came and got Lukas from the other side I guess and was laughing at him because the longer he waited, the harder Lukas pounded on the door. I love those two.

Jan: I think that was part of it.. In a previous interview that Lukas gave, at the end he couldn’t get out, he was banging on the door trying to get someone to open it for him and eventually he found out that Ribery had taped the door all shut so he couldn’t open it.

I enjoy their pranks. It’s funny. I’m glad they get on so well.

This is a short segment from the German TV show Sportstudio, where Ribery was invited and interviewed. Goal Wall Shooting is sort of a mandatory part of every show. Ribery demolished the wall with his shot and Podolski pops up on the screen to tell him that he was behind it and prepared the wall. Although it would have worked out better if Ribery’s shooting was less precise. The ball only slightly touched the wall in the end.

Thanks for posting this interview. I’m glad Poldi has confidence — and, despite our fears, he *is* getting playing time. I’m dying to find out what the “nasty surprise” was!
